Local Musician

ROSEENA

Roseena is a singer/songwriter from the beautiful countrysides of county Sligo. She began pursuing her music career at the beginning of 2020.

Taking inspiration from bands such as London Grammar and Florence and the Machine, she has released several originals and covers over the previous years, a long with her debut EP, For Infinity.

Any music that I take the pleasure in listening to, I always try let it carry me through nostalgia, memories and emotions. I want to create music that everyone else can experience in that way.

OLIVIA, CIARA & AODHAN O'DONNELL

Olivia & Ciara are twins aged 15, and Aodhan is 13.

They won the All Ireland 12-15 trio this year in Mullingar. Olivia & Ciara also came 1st & 2nd in solos in Ulster and 1st in duet. Aodhan was 2nd in Ulster and 3rd in All Ireland.

Then the trio came 1st in Ulster as well.

FERMANAGH CONCERT BAND

The Fermanagh Concert Band, a unique and independent wind and brass ensemble in Enniskillen, stands as a vibrant, cross-community musical group, welcoming members from diverse backgrounds and locations, embodying the universal language of music. The Fermanagh Concert Band, boasting distinguished patrons in Sir James Galway for wind players and John Wallace for brass players, showcases an extensive repertoire, spanning various musical genres, and has performed at numerous events and venues across Northern Ireland and Fermanagh. The Fermanagh Concert Band has experienced numerous highlights, including collaborations with various bands, the recording of their first CD, performances for BBC television's 'Match of the Day,' scripted Christmas entertainments, a community drama event, and the honor of playing at the Secretary of State’s Garden Party attended by HRH The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall at Castle Coole.

SEAMAS MAC ANNAIDH

Began his career in Enniskillen Library, then was writer-in-residence at Queen's, Ulster, and Galway Universities. Author of six novels in Irish and the best selling Irish History Micropedia in English among other books. Lives in Belcoo.

KEILAN COLVILLE

His work can be found in The Honest Ulsterman, Green Ink Poetry, The Paperclip, & Awkward Middle Children, an anthology published as part of the 21 Artists Programme.

In 2020 his first pamphlet Storm and Silence was published by Wild Pressed Books. He holds an MA in English from Ulster University. He tweets from @KeilanColville_.

JOHN GRAHAM

John Graham is a retired public health physician who now lives in Enniskillen.Since returning to live in the County he has been involved in running heritage and healthcare charities. He directed the Ledwidge Centenary Concert in St Macartin’s Cathedral and St Michael’s Church in 2016 and has helped organise the music programmes of the Beckett and Wilde Festivals. He sings in the Cathedral Choir and is a Deputy Lieutenant for County Fermanagh.He was awarded the OBE in the recent King’s Coronation Honours List.

NOELLE MC ALINDEN

Noelle Mc Alinden was nominated as High Sheriff of County Fermanagh for 2023. Originally from Co Armagh has lived in Fermanagh since 1883.

A dedicated Creative Adviser,Educator,Artist Curator & Arts & Human Rights Activist for over 40 years. A Tedx Speaker.Working locally,regionally & internationally. Along with her duties of High Sheriff to represent The County & welcome members of The Royal Family & Secretary of State,her role also to lay a wreath on the Centotaph on Rememberence Sunday. Noelle has been using her role as High Sheriff as a platform to promote the power of Arts & Culture for Peace & Reconciliation,Mental Health & Well being and Life long Learning.As a regular guest speaker addressed and welcomed a wide range of Individuals, groups & organisations promoting the County,the people & their gifts & talents as well as the unique cultural ,heritage,Educational assets of this unique place.

PAUL STERNBERG

Paul is the Co-Chair of Happy Days Enniskillen as part of Arts Over Borders and works closely with Seán Doran, Liam Brown and Sally Rees. Paul specialises in social and civic innovation with a background in broadcasting, community organising, and academia. He has held senior leadership roles at Channel 4, Business in the Community (where he worked closely with the then HRH The Prince of Wales) and the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts (NESTA). Paul has also been involved in setting up social ventures such as Action for Happiness, The Media Trust and Key4Life. As Director of Postgraduate Studies at Ravensbourne University London he established the Institute for Creativity and Technology focusing on creativity, cultural heritage, and design innovation as drivers for wellbeing across education and communities.
