Run for Peace

Have you ever travelled from Enniskillen in Northern Ireland to Sligo in the Republic? You might not be aware that on the way you cross four sets of boundaries - and there is no border sign or security! You might only notice the signs change from miles to km. 🚗
That’s really cool, isn’t it? How many people around the world would wish to get over a border easy like this?
On 17th September Dmitri from Moldova will run the 26 mile marathon from Enniskillen to Manorhamilton to raise finds for UISCE’s peacebuilding work. Starting at 1pm. 🏃🏼♂️
Donation purposes
Our goal is to raise at least 20 thousand pounds to:
Train young Peace Champion between Sligo and Enniskillen in order to engage with the population concerning the challenges and resistances to peacebuilding.
Help Ukrainian, Moldovan and Russia community leaders explore the Irish peace process.
Improve UISCE’s Enniskillen campus.
And help Dmitri with college costs.
